This cold water pillar tap is the practical workhorse of a sanitaryware catalogue: a single inlet tap that mounts on a basin, sink or utility trough and delivers cold water through a swivel spout. The body is brass with a polished chrome finish, and the headwork is a quarter turn ceramic cartridge rather than a rubber washer, so the tap stops dead without the slow drip that builds up on traditional pillar taps after a few thousand operations.
The inlet uses a standard 15 mm connection with a brass tail and back nut, which fits the pipework found in schools, workshops, canteens, public washrooms and older residential buildings across the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia. The 130 mm spout swivels through 360 degrees so one tap can serve two bowls of a double sink, and the lever handle can be operated with a wrist or elbow, a detail that matters for food handling areas where staff must avoid hand contact.

Typical installations include school and factory washrooms, canteen and kitchen utility sinks, clinic hand wash points, janitor closets and outdoor yard taps where a simple cold water supply is enough. The tap also works as a replacement part for older pillar taps in rented housing stock, because the 15 mm inlet matches existing plumbing.
Buyers can order the tap with a fixed spout instead of a swivel type, with a longer 180 mm spout for deep sinks, or with a hose nipple in place of the aerator for bucket filling. Bulk orders can be supplied in plain cartons with the customer brand stamped on the handle.
Packaging & Quality AssuranceEach tap is bagged, then packed in an individual kraft box with the back nut, washer and instruction slip. Fifty boxes go into a five layer carton with a gross weight of about 22 kg, and cartons are marked with the model code, quantity and a handling symbol.
Every tap is opened and closed twenty times on a test bench and checked for leakage at 0.8 MPa before packing. Chrome adhesion is verified on samples with a cross hatch test, and we keep production records so that a future repeat order matches the original specification.
